Hindu Kush effects: what people report
People most often describe Hindu Kush as sleepy and relaxing, an evening indica, and many report feeling hungry. Dry mouth, dry eyes and dizziness are the most-reported downsides.1,2,3
This page reports what people and breeders describe. It is not medical advice, and it makes no claim that Hindu Kush treats or prevents any condition.

Energizing or sleepy?
Sleepy. Leafly rates Hindu Kush mostly calming, sleepy heads its list of top effects, and Leafly’s list of the 100 best strains files it under strains for feeling sleepy.1,7 Sources differ on how heavy it is: AllBud describes hours of couch-lock, while Sensi Seeds says its line does not cause complete couch-lock.2,3
Why two batches can feel different
Lab potency was fairly consistent in our small sample: the middle 80% of the 17 tests fell between 16.40% and 19.45% THC.8 The name covers more variation than that: lab results under named variants and crosses outnumber plain Hindu Kush, and SeedFinder lists 16 breeders’ versions of the seed (see genetics).8,9
